Isaiah’s Vision

Deut 1. 3-22. Let’s move with a heart to study and help each other uplift as we do the study ourselves. It’s a lot of fun doing our spiritual studies but what’s even more fun is knowing that as we uplift ourselves we uplift others as well. We’re going to be working from, basically, the book of Deuteronomy. “Deuteronomy” means “words”. The first words of the chapters beginning Deuteronomy are words of blessing and they say this at chapter 1.

“These are the words that Moses spoke to all of Israel.”

We know that the word “Israel” means “people of God” and we’ve covered the meaning of the word “Israel” before. Have a look at one of our teachings on “What name?”. The story of the words of Moses began with the issue of Isaiah’s vision of the impending destruction of the temple. These words of Deuteronomy of 1. 3-22 are traditionally read in the first weeks of the months of Leo, often called the week before the 9th Av which related to Isaiah’s vision.

It was the 9th Av, that history reveals, that Isaiah’s vision heralded the future destruction of the temple. It also happened to herald the beginning of the Spanish Inquisition as well as the implementation of Hitler’s final solution of destruction of Jews and others in Germany. History reveals that this 9th Av date and Isaiah’s vision is one to be heeded for it has been implemented many times exactly on that sad date. There is a very biblically sound reason for this. Whilst reading these same readings today we seek to find the key to how to use the wisdom tool of this scripture. We need to study and find this in order to help us overcome the negativity and the chaos and so find the positive clues of divine energy for our own lifestyle. We may then move in oneness, not chaos.

At last after 40 years, Moses spoke the words his people needed to know about their behavior. Moses spoke of their errors and the movements they could make to correct them. By this time they were at least ready to listen. We hope and pray that because of our study programs that we are preparing ourselves always to be ready to listen too. Personally making the right decisions for our spiritual transformation leads you to walk on the path of the correct movements as the ‘Immaculate One.‘ At the annual time of this Sabbath reading of Deut.1. 3-22 in the week prior to the 9th Av and in relation to the history of Isaiah’s vision we ourselves choose to be ready to listen. With an attentive heart we then move to change them so as to avert the continual destructions that Isaiah’s visions spoke of and that relates to this 9th of Av historically.

Isaiah’s visions, then, are for those who will pay attention and change. This is the big key – that we need to be ready to change our movements at all times into divine co-operative ones. Certainly we get plenty of disruption programs. Those who fail to learn to treat others with dignity and respect can only expect that the destructions that Isaiah spoke of in his visions will weigh in today. When that day – the equivalent of 9th Av – occurs then we will see the results of our own actions. Our trust of God this year in 2010 the 9th Av will occur on 20 July certainly a day to pray for many of the people in the world who are experiencing chaos and lack of trust in God.

The vision of Isaiah’s destructions were the result of the people’s own hatred. Their own intolerance and their own choice to be insensitive and judgmental towards others! The key of this vision for us to choose to put aside our personal agendas and selfish egos and choose to pay attention to what Moses had to say. Moses outlined these mistakes in the words of Deuteronomy for all of heaven and earth to hear. He said, at verse 31 that they had failed to trust God. We need to put aside our personal agendas and look and ponder on each situation with trust. Moses outlined the mistakes of the personal agendas of the spies and fears and lack of trust in God’s plan. In Duet 1:22 we know that when they reported back with no trust in God it brought their immediate death. Also their own generation died before reaching their promised destination.

As we read this long desert account of Moses’ words then we can choose to not waste our time of 40 years before we change our conscious awareness to enlightenment and the spiritual transformation of unity and trust in God. We have chosen that we want to become the true and immaculate connection to the Light Presence Shekina within us. The problem can be likened to a teenager who does not want to use the tools of wisdom. They can become too busy having too much fun being irresponsible and selfish. Eventually they will have to deal with their mistakes even if after a long desert period of wasting time and a wasted life. As we come to the stage of making decisions in our lives we too can become like the teenager. We have the choice to run for some irresponsible or selfish focus in our own personal agenda or ego or we can choose to say. “I have a life ahead of me and I’m going to make the most of every bit of it. I’m going to make some sensible decisions based on the tools of wisdom and trust of God.” The vision of Isaiah opens up to us in Light Presence, those very tools of wisdom. We don’t want to have to wait 40 years or a long lifetime of a boring desert, chaotic life before we can actually do something of value for God’s plan for peace and redemption.

In Deuteronomy, Moses speaks his words to the people after such a long period of time. We can use this reading as a key to choose to ponder and to move back in time to correct the irresponsible mistakes we need to fix. We can use our mind also to choose to travel into the future of our life to suit the situation and use the wisdom of Moses. Moses’ words in this scripture can then to transform the evil tendencies of selfishness and lack of trust. Become your true identity of righteous Light Presence as a co-operative messiah of oneness. Just as Sarah did. Just as Esther did. Just as Miriam did. Just as Abraham did. We can see how they put aside everything and did the righteous and trusting movement in co-operation with God. The true identity that God had called them to be —– “the righteous one” Abraham was called the righteous one. We need to see that he didn’t have a boring life at all – that Moses, Abraham, Sarah, Miriam, all them, chose to go into co-operative movement, actions and certainly plenty of challenges. It’s not the easy life but it certainly is full of fun, full of joy, and full of satisfaction of being a co-operative messiah of oneness with God our creator. That’s what we want.

That’s what we call a “Corma” person. One who is a co-operator with the work of redemption. Corma saints and about the Father’s work of the work of mediation out to other people and the work of advocacy between God and man. As we heed Moses’ words in Deut 1. it is possible to use your own spiritual capacity to stop any of your own childish and selfish ways and choose, yourself, to hasten to move, to correct your precious soul. It can be completely liberated from the fetters of time and your selfish ego and any lack of trust in serving God. This is dependent upon the choices that you make for your movement. We are, after all, a movement people. Simply put, we can use these Deuteronomy words and put aside the unwise agendas. We then avoid the long desert disappointments and fears and chaos as seen with 9AV. We can choose to take the building of the temple within your own soul as a serious commitment and start to move towards that righteousness – yes, righteousness – The joy and the challenge of righteousness will bring forth laughter and joy of God within your soul.

You only need to study the scriptures about the joy of the Lord as your strength, and the scriptures about righteousness, to know that this is the path that would be far more appealing to travel instead of being like a teenager who refuses to grow up. Eventually life forces all teenagers to grow up. Unless they have very foolish parents, hopefully they will be forced to grow up sooner rather than later. We can dally as long as we like but eventually life’s experiences and God’s little gentle hand will push us along to our disruptions so that we have to face that choice – Do we want to continue like a silly child, – or do we want to become that person that God has given us the chance to be? This is after all a most precious time to love in so there must be a great value to the life actions. One way or the other we are going to have to deal with God’s plan and true purpose personally. One way or the other it’s a matter of deal with it now or we’re going to have to come back and face the issues eventually.

Hopefully, we will not have wasted many useful years. The choices, like separating from unsuitable or ego based companions, or refusing to be motivated by emotions; the choices of choosing to move in responsible service and sharing our lives and ways to let this begin. Rather than waiting for the drag of the desert or the destructions and chaos that some people seem to bring upon themselves are seen with 9AV outlined in Isaiah’s vision. History reveals the  9AV result for lack of trust and service to God. Isaiah’s vision gave his people this warning to make the choice. We make the change now or we will have the destructions come upon us too as they have come upon other people The indications of Isaiah’s vision warn the people of the imminent destruction that occurred on 9th Av and has continued to occur on 9th Av. Only recently we saw many young people last year killed in a car accident and we knew the parents of the boy driving the car. The whole circumstance was a sudden disruption to his very young life. Some of them were killed, sadly, – God bless them and their families – in that accident. And so, their foolish behavior of that night ended up in the destruction of their lives, and in the driver’s life which has been destroyed since that moment with chaos and despair, and only held together by the grace of God and spiritual parents and friends. In actual fact, I believe that there is no blame to place upon the boy. I think the blame to place, if we were to be ones who wanted to place the blame, was in not making the choice to make something of value in their young lives.

When God sees that we are starting to make some value in our lives then He gives us more mercy, more grace, to achieve our righteous state. By serving God’s plan we also gain graces to eradicate our sin and ego. Challenges are still there every day. If we do not follow the path of God then the vision of Isaiah will come true even in our lives, even in our nations, even in these times. Each and every one of us can make a decision to do something about stopping this chaos and destruction that Isaiah warned his people about. Isaiah wasn’t there to be a doom and gloom prophet with his vision. He was simply trying to get the people to stop and make a change to make their lives of godly value before it was too late. The same for us. When we read at this time in the week before the 9th Av, we can stop, make choices. Say “I need to change. I need to be responsible. I need to treat other people with respect. I need to have a righteousness about my soul so that I do not bring chaos upon this world but that I actually contribute for myself and others in bringing enlightenment and joy and laughter of Sarah into the world.” This means taking up the role of studying and finding the ways of God and acting on them.

As Moses said to his people of the desert “This is where you’ve gone wrong, this is what you could do, this is where you need to go.” Like a loving father with the power of righteousness in him, Moses spoke to heal his people, to help his people. Let us heed the healing words of Moses. Let us heed the healing key that’s available to us in these words of the first three chapters of Deuteronomy and use it to go back in time to heed Moses’ warning for ourselves too. We can change our life from this very moment on. And when you start to slip, and when you start to be tempted to be irresponsible again go back to these three chapters. Read them again and choose to hear Moses speaking to you and calling you away from the irresponsibilities of chaos. Heed your father Moses of the righteous ones who can laugh with God in the link between heaven and earth. Look at the past teachings that we have shared with you on the name of Isaac. The powerful vibration name – Isaac is Yisak – that links heaven and earth with joy. I think you will find that useful.

You can choose to be the wonderful, precious person of God that you were called to be. Become that immaculate person instead of the silly selfish person that you may be tempted to be. The desert is not a very nice place to stay in especially if it’s for a very long period of time. As we read these words when we need them and at this time in the middle of July let us step forward, step up and be responsible. Every time we lift ourselves up we lift up the rest of the nations of the world up harmoniously as well. Every time that you see that there is chaos in the world, and there are wars and disasters in the world and shocking accidents, remember that you had a part to play in allowing that to happen because you didn’t do enough. You were able to do much in changing the world. Change yourself, and remove the chaos and the selfishness from yourself. Focus on the serious role of joyful service to humanity that you’ve been given by God to move for God in the Light Presence of God. Step up for yourself and others. Let’s harmoniously change the world together. We will never again see the sad news of the world without realizing that we have a responsibility to move in the enlightenment and intercession of the world. And we can do it. It does take some effort. The effort to resist our ego and our selfish ways and personal agendas. We’ve been working on this for quite some time and we can do it.

Congratulations to those of you who have tried vigorously and resist your ego and your selfish tendencies. For this is our joyful service role every day. We can join hands together today to support each other globally. Congratulate each other on how far you have come. We realize that there’s much more that we can do. We can do it together. Congratulations. Because you are together. The oneness is already coming through you so let it come more. Enjoy the words of Moses as he speaks as the righteous father with great love and care. The key is to overcome yourself as you harvest the uplift code of Deuteronomy Ch 1-3.
