VALUE OF RITUALS
Every ritual is created by man to do three things. Each of the three things is a movement result of desire/passion. The first movement slows us down. The second move unites us with others of like interest. Thirdly it shifts or moves our vibration of consciousness away from the physical signals to allow the movement of magnification or expansion of spirituality and light in the set apart spirit.
All rituals are loaded with details which slow those who engage in them down. As the rituals slow one down so the movement of the expansion of the consciousness begins to flow. This helps the ego shift from the self ego of gain to the divine ego identity with its bestowal desires of movement.
The ego is strongly tied to past conditionings and may consist of ‘inherited lies’ of tradition (Deut 31). The rituals of our conditioning enable us to slow down enough to allow the door/gap to open between thought and action. This then enables the mind to freely choose the divine ego actions and discern. It is rewarding to personally slip in the ritual into the blissful movement of the divine transformation of consciousness. That is why people become attached to regular performance of spiritual rituals in unity with others which enhances the bliss energy in the atmosphere. Whoever finds joy finds it by slowing and touching “light presence”.
Unfortunately there can be some who become entrenched in the first two stages of ritual due to their “self ego of gain”, immaturity or due to their training or indoctrinations. See Study: “Weary Rituals”.
Ideally rituals are much like a light to lead one and are best then left behind in the progress beyond the 3rd stage.
