NAMES

Power in the Right Name

“Theological Dictionary of the New Testament” by Kittel:

“The original form of our Saviour’s name as preserved in the Hebrew Old Testament as the name of Moses’ successor is YW       . the     represent YAHU, and the final         represents SHUA.”

YAHUSHUA is the correct name of the Saviour. For the sake of those who have become used to the indoctrinated modern name of Jesus, - then we often will give reference to Jesus/Yahushua, to allow all to follow our use of the correct name being Yahushua pronounced Yahshua/Yeshua.

This name of the promised saviour (ie YAHUSHUA not Jesus) has been the cause of much attack against our CCA and MMMI saints by so-called Christians. Sadly so many who have read the newer translations of biblical scripture are robbed of the truth unless the divine set-apart spirit leads them past indoctrinations and the “inherited lies”.

“Your fathers have taught you inherited lies.”

Jeremiah 16.19

The Name of the Saviour is accepted in the form of ‘Yehoshua’ as the preference of all theological societies, bible encyclopaedias and dictionaries. They outline that the original of “Jesus” was Yehoshua or some as Jehoshua. They base this on the fact that, while Hebrew texts call the successor of Moses Yehoshua, the Greek translation of the name of Moses successor is ‘Iesous’ which is translated to ‘Jesus’ in English. The use of the word Yeshua is not a proper name or a personal name. It is merely a word meaning ‘salvation’. The use of the word “Yeshua’ as a name had its origin among those speaking Aramaic, not Hebrew.

The name ‘Yeshua’ does not then qualify as “the Name which is above every Name”. Nor does it contain the Father’s Name to enable it to qualify to be the “Name which is above every Name.”

One is able to confirm the Messiah’s name by looking it up in authoritive sources such as “Theological Dictionary of the New Testament” by Kittel.

The scriptural name of the Heavenly Father was read as “Yehoweh”. This was later on interpreted and abbreviated by some Christian theologians as “Yahweh”.

“Theological Workbook of the Old Testament” by Waltke states that the Name was spelled with four letters so we expect it to have more than two syllables. Other scholars of Hebrew agree and therefore do not accept the form of ‘Yahweh’ which has only two syllables.

‘They shall call upon My Name and I will hear them.

I will say, ‘They are My people’ and they shall say

‘Yahuweh/Yahweh is my God.”

Ezek 13.9

The scriptures have clear instruction regarding the chosen ones knowing the true name of their God though the religionists so often teach false names. The lies of indoctrination that have been inherited indicate lies even about the name of Yahuweh/Yahweh.

PONDER THEN:

  • If your name is John Smith they to be called Mary Wilson is nonsensical. If someone claims to be a close personal friend of John Smith and still uses the name Mary Wilson for him, this it is illogical. It would be understandable for John Smith not to respond to the wrong name used. Surely a correct use of a name has power and value.
