LUXURY LIVING

“For I will bring them into the land which I swore

to their fathers, a land that flows

with milk and honey;

and when they have eaten and are full and live in luxury,

then they will go astray after other gods and serve them,

and provoke me and break my covenant.”

Deut 31.20

Prior to that, the scripture wisely instructs that the use of song and drama will be a protection against misuse of the rightful divine gift of the lifestyle of luxury. The Creator chooses to give luxury not poverty. Though some foolish teachers may teach poverty, it is clear that this is only given to the disobedient heart (Deut 30, Deut 31, Deut 32.14-20). Wisely we are instructed to teach this to our children through song and drama so they will not be fooled or make unwise choices in the sweet luxury lifestyle they divinely receive.

“Now, therefore, write this song for them,

and teach it to the children of Israel;

(those who receive the promise and obey Yahuweh/God)

and put it into their mouths;

this song will be a witness for me against the children of Israel.”

Deut 31.19

Clearly in the midst of the rewards of plentiful blessings of luxury are the temptations to test the saint.

Yahuweh gives prosperity in the land.

Deut 7.12, 8.18 teach that the people faithful to the Almighty One will keep the gifts of luxury blessing if they obey Yahuweh. (Deut 4.40, 6.10, 11.12)

If the saints fail to be co-operatively obedient (co-rma), (eg, Sabbath worship and correct festivals (see study “25 December”)), then their prosperity and lands are taken from them. (Deut 4.24)

CLAIM PROSPERITY THEN

Claim your rightful prosperity for your reward of ‘corma’ then with the following scripture promises.

Ps 84.11

‘”… no good thing will Yahuweh withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Job 36.11

“If they obey and serve Yahuweh they shall spend their days in prosperity, and the years in pleasures.” (Don’t doubt this promise if you obey Yahuweh.)

Ps 122.6

“…they shall prosper that love thee.”

Josh 1.8

“This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night, they you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.”

Is 48.17

“…I am Yahuweh who teaches you to profit, which leads you by the way that you should go.”

Ps 1.2

“But his delight is in the law of Yahuweh, and in His law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth His fruit in His season; his lead also shall not wither, and whatsoever he does shall prosper.”

Ps 35.27

“…Let Yahuweh be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Prov 8.21

“That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.”

Is 55.11

“So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void… and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

3 John 2

“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
