I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

This December welcomed the worldwide celebration of the Festival of Lights (Hanuka).  It commemorates a Miracle of Light that lasted for 8 days.

This light Festival is scripturally told of in Maccabees. It is not a sacred Sabbath festival, but is highly significant to the interest of the follower of the light presence in their festival choices.

The scriptural Story from Macabees:-

 It was a time when the Temple of Yahweh was totally defiled, desecrated and held in the hands of foreign Syrian Dictator.  A small band of Israelite men under the leadership of Judah Maccabee, lead a revolt (166-142 BC) against the foreign power and were, by the grace of Yahweh, able to recapture the Temple.  Before any worship could again take place in the Temple it had to be purified.  Purification was an 8 day ritual but the Israelites only found enough Holy Oil to last several hours.  Tradition tells us that they lit the oil and even though it was only a small supply it miraculously lasted for the full eight days thus ritually cleansing the Temple of all defilement.

The symbolism of the light is the essence of the biblical Festival of Light. Through research and biblical study many hold to the facts that Yahushua/Jesus was miraculously conceived in the womb of his mother Mariam/Mary during this Festival of Light time. The Light Presence came into the world  at the womb stage then on the Gregorian date of December 11th. 

“I am the Light of the World.” John 12:35-36.

This time is known as the season of light …

The Maccabees story of that small jar of pure oil that gave light miraculously and purified the temple.  The young virgin girl Mariam/Mary who herself, a small vessel of purity residing in the temple, was like that small jar of oil that gave forth the child Messiah – the “Light of the world”. It is the light that purifies the temple of the soul. Mariam was the chosen vessel Yahushua.   

Nothing happens by chance and all things are in order.  We have learnt in the past studies that much of the timing in Yeshua/Jesus’ life corresponds to sacred biblical Feast days within the biblical calendar. It is of no surprise that the “Light of the World” should choose to be conceived at the time when Israelites celebrated the Festival of Light. 

Finding facts and extensive study have revealed the light of truth so we now know that the Messiah was not born in December but rather, September 11^th.  For further personal research you will find the articles written by Roy A. Reinhold and the many bible codes confirm the September 11^th birth date of the Messiah and the Hanuka conception timing.  Does it begin to make  macabre and sad sense of the massacres on December 11 in 2001 in the financial capital of the United States of America! Dr. Ernest L. Martin’s book called, The Star of Bethlehem: The Star that Astonished the World is worth the study.  Also on this site we have a past study called “Astrology in the Bible” which gives a short explanation of the above.

Knowing the birth date thus allows us to count back to see for ourselves if Yahushua /Jesus’ conception was in fact at the time of Hanukah.   The normal gestation period of a male child is 271 days.  When counting back the only catch would be to make sure it corresponds to the biblical calendar of the time.  In doing so we find that his conception was around December 13^th 4BC.  Roy A. Reinhold, a bible code expert, found when researching for the Conception of Yeshua /Jesus the following words within the code:

3/4BC, angel, miryam, to conceive, hannuka, evening one, Yeshua, Messiah, from heaven ………and the list goes on.  

When we look at December 13^th 4BC we find that it was evening One of Hanukah just as the Bible codes stated and just as our research would indicate.

This piece of the puzzle certainly fits the pattern of the way the Almighty One uses the feast days. 

September 11^th 4-3BC was the first day of the seventh month in the Israelite calendar and marked the Appointed Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah.

The blowing of trumpets is both a sign of the return of the prophesied Messiah and memorial of God’s grace to Abraham when He substituted a ram to be sacrificed instead of Isaac (Gen. 22). (biblicalholidays.com)

This feast traditionally commemorates the birthday of the first Adam, and is the  biblically held day of Coronation of the King.  The new Adam, the Messiah was born on the same day and he is the King of Kings.

Biblically we also know that Yahushua died at Passover, another Biblical Appointed Feast which commemorates the Eternal's deliverance of Israel from Egypt by a great plague on Egypt's firstborn (Exo 12, Exo 13:6-8, Lev 23:5, Deut 16:3-8, Num 28:16) This prefigured Yahushau / Jesus as the Lamb.

"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29).

We know that the divine Set Apart Spirit descended on the Biblical Feast of Pentecost.  Pentecost is a biblical feast that is a memorial of the giving of the Law to Moses on Mt Sinai.... these are just a few examples of the Plan of Salvation and the 7 Feasts of Yahuweh/Almighty God.

Although the Festival of Light (Hanuka) is not a Biblically Appointed Feast or Sabbath it also becomes part of the Plan of Salvation.

At this festival of Light (Hanuka) mankind celebrates and marks the very moment Yahushua/Yeshua/Jesus became manifest in a virgin womb vessel.  Just as that small vessel of oil once lit, purified the temple in the time of Maccabees, so too did the Light which began in the pure womb/oil of Mariam/Mary purify and bring the Light of Yahuweh back to the world. Many at this time of year celebrate the conception of the Messiah and many others celebrate a time of gift giving, parties and holidays…

"I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)

JUST A NOTE OF INTEREST:

If we look to the Mayan Calendar we find the following facts:

·        11^th September, 3/4BC is the day of 13 Ahau

·        13 in Mayan numerology represents Pure Creator Energy, Divine, the foundation for the other 12, source connection and the 13 heavens. 

·        Ahau represents King of Kings, Absolute Master, Light, enlightenment, universal fire, Christ Consciousness. 

·        13 Ahau began the cycle of the 13 heaven,

·        13 heaven cycles ends in the year 2011.
